Yuri Dzivielevski Captures First PGT Title in $15K Big Bet Mix Triumph

Yuri Dzivielevski continues to strengthen his case as one of Brazil’s premier poker talents.

The five-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner added another milestone to his résumé by taking down the 2026 PokerGO Tour Mixed Games $15,000 Big Bet Mix. Outlasting a 53-entry field, the Curitiba native earned $262,350 and claimed his first-ever PGT title.

The victory also delivered 210 PGT points, pushing Dzivielevski into the top five of the season-long Mixed Games standings. In addition, he picked up 360 Card Player Player of the Year (POY) points—his first qualifying score of 2026.

Already Brazil’s bracelet leader and second on the country’s all-time money list with nearly $11.3 million in career earnings (behind only Joao Simao’s $17.2 million), Dzivielevski is carrying momentum from a strong finish to 2025. That late-year surge included three deep December runs, highlighted by a third-place finish in a $150,000 WSOP Paradise high roller worth a career-best $1.4 million.

A Stacked Final Table

The $795,000 prize pool was distributed among the top eight finishers, with several decorated pros making deep runs.

Johannes Becker and Cary Katz both bowed out with $31,800, followed by Nacho Barbero ($47,700) and Matthew Wantman ($63,600). Four-time bracelet winner Sam Soverel exited in fourth place ($79,500) after his pocket kings ran headlong into Talal Shakerchi’s pocket aces in a round of no-limit five-card draw. Shakerchi improved to trips to secure the knockout.

Despite that key elimination, Shakerchi’s run ended in third place ($111,300). In no-limit deuce-to-seven single draw, he stood pat with J-8-7-6-3, but Dzivielevski drew one card and made a ten-low to claim the pot and set up heads-up play.

Closing It Out

Dzivielevski began the final duel holding better than a 2:1 chip advantage over Patrick Leonard, the WSOP bracelet winner and CoinPoker ambassador.

The deciding hand came during Omaha eight-or-better. On a board reading Q♥ 8♦ 2♥ 10♦, Leonard committed his remaining chips holding A♦ 9♥ 8♠ 6♦, drawing to both a low and a flush. Dzivielevski tabled A♠ A♣ K♦ 7♣ for top set and strong redraws.

The J♥ river sealed the outcome. Leonard missed his flush and low draws but completed a queen-high straight—only to see Dzivielevski reveal the ace-high straight for the win. Leonard collected $166,950 as the runner-up.

Final Table Results

  1. Yuri Dzivielevski – $262,350 (360 POY / 210 PGT points)

  2. Patrick Leonard – $166,950 (300 POY / 134 PGT points)
